Our featured speaker this year is Phil Gulley best-selling author, peace activist, and Quaker pastor. A splendid story teller, he was a semi-finalist for the James Thurber Prize for American Humor. Gulley has published 20 books, including the acclaimed Harmony series, and his memoir, I Love You, Miss Huddleston: And Other Inappropriate Longings of My Indiana Childhood. Additionally, he writes the popular monthly Home Again column for Indianapolis Monthly. In Gulley’s most recently published theological work, he shows how the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community and equality can be incorporated in personal and public life to bring renewal and hope.
